South Korea determined to keep talks with the North

North Korea has cited the current US-South Korean military exercises as the reason to call off a meeting on Wednesday.

Emergency phone calls have been made by South Korean and US diplomats following North Korea’s threat to cancel the planned summit with President Donald Trump.

North Korea has already delayed a meeting with South Korea that was supposed to be held on Wednesday.

And it says it’s not interested in talks if the US president demands denuclearisation without promising anything in return.
