Ortega under pressure: Nicaraguans demand resignation

Protesters have rejected the proposed Truth and Justice Commission and are demanding that the killings of students and journalists be investigated by international rights groups.

People in Nicaragua held a massive protest late on Wednesday to demand the resignation of President Daniel Ortega.

It’s the latest demonstration since the killing of dozens of protesters last month.

Security forces are accused of using unnecessary force.
