Central American asylum seekers to reach US border within days

As many as 500 refugees and migrants are expected to arrive at the US border in the coming days, despite warnings from the Trump administration that they could face arrest.

A group of 500 refugees and migrants are about to reach the United States border with Mexico after a month on the road.

They say they are escaping from violence and persecution in Central America, but US President Donald Trump wants them turned away.
