Trump calls Comey ‘slime ball’ over new critical book
US President Donald Trump called James Comey a ‘weak and untruthful slime ball’, reacting to news accounts that cite the fired former FBI director as searingly critical of the president in a memoir due to be published next week.
The White House has dismissed former FBI Director James Comey’s new book – which is critical of US President Donald Trump – as a poorly executed PR stunt.
Trump fired Comey last May while his agency was investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
