Thousands flee fighting in eastern DR Congo to Uganda

One refugee who fled the violence in Ituri province told Al Jazeera that the attackers killed anyone and everyone.

Since January, more than 70,000 people have fled fighting in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo to seek refuge in neighbouring Uganda, according to the United Nations.

Most of the new arrivals have fled fighting in the Ituri province.
