US President Donald Trump has signed sweeping new tariffs on imports of steel of 25 percent and aluminium of 10 percent.
Defying opposition from his own party and outrage from overseas, US President Donald Trump has signed sweeping new tariffs on imports of steel of 25 percent and aluminium of 10 percent.
Mexico and Canada will be temporarily exempt from the new levies, while negotiations continue on a regional trade agreement.
