
China vows to lift 10 million out of poverty
The Chinese government is encouraging the poor to move from rural regions into urban environments.
The Chinese government aims to lift 10 million people in the rural areas out of poverty this year.
Most of the country’s poor live in rural regions.
Now they are being encouraged to move to the big cities, any city, except Beijing.
