Officials in Congo say at least 10 people are dead and 10 others are missing after rebels attacked outlying areas of the northeastern city of Beni overnight.
At least 10 people are dead and 10 others are missing after a rebel attack in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It happened on the outskirts of the city of Beni, in a region beset by violence involving the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) armed group.
People living there say the government of President Joseph Kabila has abandoned them.
