The new app being developed by a group of university students will allow women to feel safer when moving around on their own.
Tunisia has long been a regional leader in protecting women’s rights.
Last year Muslim women were allowed to marry non-Muslim men – and now activists are demanding equal inheritance rights as men.
But activists say sexual harassment is still a big problem, but some university students are working on an app that will use technology to protect women.
