Thai children as young as 9 train to become professional Muay Thai boxers, exposing them to repetitive head injuries that cause severe brain damage over time.

The world of sports is now familiar with the risks of long-term damage caused by repeated head trauma, as highlighted by American football players and professional boxers.

But there is a more vulnerable group of athletes suffering similar injuries – Thailand‘s child boxers.
