In Costa Rica, over the last 70 years, about 80 percent of forests have been lost. But they are being replanted and regrown in the country.

Forests across the world are under threat, according to the World Wildlife Fund. The equivalent of 27 football fields a minute is being lost to logging, agriculture and development.
