Tajikistan’s only ski resort: Safed Dara
In a country with an abundance of snow, a lone ski resort 70km north of Dushanbe trains local young people with hopes of becoming downhill champions.
Verbier, St Moritz, Whistler – just some of the world’s famous ski resorts.
Less well known is Safed Dara.
It’s the only resort in Tajikistan, where a new generation of local skiers is dreaming of sporting glory.
