El Chapo trial: It’s business as usual for Sinaloa drug cartel

The upcoming trial of Mexican drug lord might be stopping traffic in New York, but things have moved on back in Sinaloa.

With one of Mexico’s most notorious criminals about to go on trial in the United States, succession battles have broken out for control of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s drug empire.

But this hasn’t stopped the Sinaloa cartel from carrying on with its illegal business.
