
Zimbabwe budget: Government implements austerity measures
A year after former-President Robert Mugabe was forced from office, the issues that brought him down have not gone away.
The economy collapsed after land reform was carried out by long-time leader Robert Mugabe – who was forced from office last year.
The new government under President Emmerson Mnangagwa is now trying to steer the country’s economy in a positive direction and attract foreign investment.
But that is not an easy task.
