Khashoggi murder: US colleges rethink Saudi funding
A report by The Associated Press says US universities have accepted $613 million from Saudi government and private sources in the past decade.
In the US, the spotlight is now on how much money Saudi Arabia spends trying to buy influence in both politics and education, following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Some universities are now considering whether to cut ties with Riyadh.
