Who is to blame for California wildfires?

The death toll in Northern California has gone up to 56 as firefighters battle to contain the worst wildfire in the state’s history.

The remains of eight more people have been found in Northern California, bringing the death toll to 56 in the state’s worst wildfire.

While there is some way to go before the flames are extinguished, there’s now hope that some of the fires are diminishing.

Authorities say vegetation ignited in areas near developments, not in the forests – another reminder that US President Trump’s contention that the fires could be prevented with better forest management is wrong.
