
Honduran government preventing many from fleeing to US
Hondurans say Washington’s pressure has led to the crackdown on those fleeing poverty and violence.
US President Donald Trump is warning thousands of migrants making their way from Central America to the United States that they will not be allowed in.
Trump has sent about 5,000 troops to the border to stop them entering.
Many of the migrants fleeing poverty and violence are from Honduras, where the government is blamed for the country’s economic crisis.
