Saudi investment summit secures deals worth $56bn

Saudi oil money tempts many despite a boycott by some key global leaders after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Deals worth at least $56bn have been signed at this year’s investment summit in Saudi Arabia.

Many global business leaders and politicians boycotted the event after the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. But there were still many tempted by the lure of Saudi oil money.
