Scepticism over Turkish probe of Khashoggi disappearance

An investigation into the fate of prominent Saudi journalist and regime critic Jamal Khashoggi is ongoing.

Khashoggi vanished after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last week and Turkish officials have said he was murdered inside the building.

Riyadh denies that, claiming he left the compound on his own, and gave Turkey permission to search the premises of the consulate.

But some suspect the investigation will not yield substantial answers.
