Zimbabwe election: Army will not influence results

The army which forced Mugabe to resign last November, say this year things are going to be different.

Zimbabwe‘s military commanders are hoping to convince voters they will remain neutral in elections planned for the end of the month.

The army was instrumental in unseating former President Robert Mugabe eight months ago.

Since then, officers have taken up key posts on the electoral commission.
