Chile sex abuse scandal: Catholics attempt to rebuild faith

The Catholic Church is still an intrinsic part of Chilean society, and believers keep coming to church, but now they’re demanding change right from the top.

People in Chile are trying to rebuild their faith in the Catholic Church after a long-running child sex abuse scandal.

All 34 of the country’s bishops have offered their resignations to Pope Francis.

They have been accused of covering up decades of sex crimes.
