Lebanon: Israel border wall ‘threatens security’

Lebanon and Israel have a border dispute as well as a dispute over ownership of an offshore gas field.

Israel has begun building a wall along its border with Lebanon.

Beirut says the $28m wall will destabilise security in the already volatile region.

Lebanese leaders also say that despite Israeli threats, they are pressing ahead with offshore gas and oil exploration.
