Mexico’s president highlights drug violence and NAFTA talks

Mexico is currently suffering the worst period of violence since the height of the country’s drug war. At the same time the government is involved in renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the United States and Canada.

Both challenges were addressed by President Enrique Pena Nieto in his state of the nation speech.
