The Caribbean islands took the brunt of Hurricane Irma’s fury. On the island of Barbuda, the government estimates 95 percent of buildings were damaged. Most residents have been moved to the neighbouring island of Antigua.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Island of St Martin, which has been struggling with power outages and looting.
He brought with him 10 tonnes of supplies, but there is demand for much more.
