Chemical attacks continued in Syria despite Ghouta outrage

Four years ago a chemical attack in Ghouta, a rebel-held suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus, killed hundreds of people.

Four years ago a chemical attack in Ghouta, a rebel-held suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus, killed hundreds of people.

Some estimates put the figure at more than 1,000, with many of the victims being women and children.

And despite efforts to rid Syria of chemical weapons, more attacks have taken place.
