Georgians have launched renewed protests against Russia’s nine-year long occupation of Georgia’s breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Georgians have launched renewed protests against Russia’s nine-year long occupation of Georgia‘s breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
For over a decade, the Georgian government has been seeking closer ties with NATO in order to protect itself from Moscow’s aggression.
However, there have also been counter-protests calling for closer ties with Russia.
