Philippines: Marawi suffers humanitarian crisis during siege

Government health agencies warn that the violence in the city of Marawi is causing a humanitarian crisis.

Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been displaced by fighting between the government and ISIL-linked fighters. Among the hardships many endure is the spread of contagious illnesses in evacuation centres.
