Syrians in rebel-held Douma break their fast amid rubble

During the holy month of Ramadan, it is common to see long tables in the streets of Muslim countries, where people can enjoy a free meal as they break their fast.

The rebel-held city of Douma, Syria, is no exception, despite being under siege for four years with no end in sight to the civil war.

Amid the rubble and violence, hundreds of people gather around the Iftar table in its streets.
