Fears of violence at rival rallies in Venezuela

Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela’s president, has again accused the US and the opposition of plotting a coup.

And he has responded by increasing the number of pro-government armed civilians to half a million.

Venezuela is reeling from a major economic crisis and there are fears of violence during rival demonstrations expected on Wednesday.
