Argentina’s biggest union calls for anti-government protest

Buenos Aires – Argentina’s largest labour union is set to go on strike to protest against government plans to cut public spending.

Teachers are already into their second day of a nationwide walk-out.

They say that despite the government’s promise to raise salaries, they will still struggle financially.
