UK parliament gives Theresa May power to start Brexit

Britain’s parliament has passed legislation to start talks to leave the European Union.

Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to trigger the negotiations by the end of the month.

But the UK’s survival could be at stake as Scotland calls for another referendum on independence.
