Honduran protesters call for vote recount

Thousands of people have been demonstrating on the streets of Honduras, as the country’s military prepares to enforce a nationwide curfew for the third night in a row.

Violent protests followed last week’s close general election. The electoral commission has not yet declared a winner.

Demonstrators express a general mistrust of the National Elections commission, calling for a fair vote recount.
