Many of the migrants entering Libya never make it to Europe and their undocumented status renders them vulnerable to exploitation when seeking work in the country.

Thousands of undocumented migrants cross North Africa on the way to find a better life in Europe.

But many end up abused, exploited and even enslaved in Libya, as they wait to make their risky Mediterranean journeys.
