South Africa’s governing African National Congress is meeting to choose a successor to President Jacob Zuma as party leader.

South Africa‘s governing African National Congress (ANC) is meeting to choose a successor to President Jacob Zuma as party leader.

The ANC has led the country since the end of apartheid.

But the party, once led by Nelson Mandela, is now far from united.
