Sudan’s government urged to act quickly to save economy

The Sudanese government is being urged to take immediate action to take advantage of opportunities for the country’s crippled economy.

Last month, the United States lifted most of its economic sanctions on Sudan, which had been in place for two decades.

They had a devastating effect on Sudanese trade and the value of the Sudanese Pound.

Business owners say more needs to be done to ease trade and allow them to make food and products affordable.
