Trump condemns trade imbalances at APEC summit

Donald Trump’s appearance has dominated a meeting on economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. He said the US will not accept trade deals that require it to surrender its sovereignty. China’s President Xi Jinping told the summit that economic globalisation is a process that cannot be reversed.
