The UN emergency relief coordinator called the humanitarian conditions in Yemen, “shocking and horrendous”.

Mark Lowcock made the comments at the end of a five-day visit that saw severely malnourished children, hospitals with minimal electricity, and unpaid health workers. He has called on all sides to do much more, as well as to respect international law and protect civilians.
