Kenya election rerun to go ahead, Odinga calls for boycott

Kenya’s main opposition leader, Raila Odinga, is urging people to boycott the vote, while President Uhuru Kenyatta says it must go ahead peacefully.

Kenya‘s presidential election rerun will take place on Thursday.

A last-ditch attempt to delay the rerun was unsuccessful when five judges failed to turn up at the Supreme Court to hear a petition.
