Syrian children’s hunger crisis worsens, aid groups blocked

Doctors in war-torn Syria say more and more children are dying of hunger in areas besieged by government forces.

The crisis is particularly severe in eastern Ghouta, a region on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus, that has been under siege since 2012.

It is just one of the many areas that international humanitarian groups say the Syrian government has prevented them from operating in.
