California wildfires one of ‘greatest tragedies’: Gov. Brown

California Governor Jerry Brown visited fire zones on Saturday to meet emergency responders and residents.

Fire officials in California say they have turned a corner in the battle against wildfires that have killed at least 40 people.

He said “This is truly one of the greatest tragedies California has ever faced, the devastation is just unbelievable. It is a horror that no one could have imagined.”

Thousands of firefighters are working with special aircraft to tackle 16 major blazes north of San Francisco.
