
US officials defend Trump’s stance on Iran nuclear deal
Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the United Nations who brushed off European criticism of the Trump administration’s approach to the nuclear deal with Iran, was among a number of US officials who defended Trump’s opposition to the deal.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has said that efforts to contain Tehran’s nuclear and ballistic missile drive through diplomacy would continue “until the first bomb drops”, following President Donald Trump‘s threat to nullify the Iran nuclear deal.
