The search for a new FBI Director is under way following US President Donald Trump’s controversial dismissal of James Comey.

The search for a new FBI director is under way following US President Donald Trump’s controversial dismissal of James Comey.

 

Candidates for the position were interviewed by the attorney general and his deputy in Washington, DC on Saturday. They will make a recommendation to the president, who will then decide which name to put forward for confirmation in the Senate.
