Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were facing each other in the first US presidential debate. Do voters now have a clear choice? What are the policy differences?
The US economy dominated the first presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.
After the carefully-controlled messages delivered during their party conventions, the event in Denver provided the first opportunity for the rival candidates to challenge each other’s policies.
Health care and education also featured in a debate that focused purely on domestic issues.
