Afghans go to the polls in August for the country’s presidential election but campaigning has so far been hampered by poor security.

One prominent candidate standing against Hamid Karzai, the incumbent, is Ashraf Ghani, a man once tipped to be the United Nations’ secretary-general.

As David Chater reports from Kabul, Ghani is ready to risk his life to get his message across.
