A new survey of North American voters suggests support for Israel is now at 49 per cent, a drop of 20 per cent over the past nine months.
The results, from the Israel Project, come as Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli foreign minister, visits the US amid a rift over Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
