 Low turnout in Indian Kashmir’s elections 
 

People living in Indian-run Kashmir have had the chance to vote in the country’s multi-phase elections.

But separatist leaders had called for a boycott and general strike. The streets, shops and businesses in the valley have been shut for two days and a curfew’s being enforced in Srinagar.
