 Guatemala begins to identify civil war victims  
 

During Guatemala’s 36-year civil war in which at least 200,000 people died, victims of the government’s death squads were buried in unmarked graves. 

Now they are being exhumed in independent efforts to identify them so that their loved ones can lay them to rest. But the scientists are facing a number of hurdles.
