Rwanda marks the 15th anniversary of the country’s genocide this week.

During the 100 days of killing tens of thousands of Tutsis fled into mosques to escape from the machete-wielding Hutus.

Their lives were spared as many Christians believed Muslims were evil and were afraid to go in.
