Human-rights groups have welcomed the UN’s new declaration against racism, but they claim political pressure has stopped talk of important issues.
The document, approved at this week’s conference in Geneva, exposed serious divisions among member countries. And, as Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher reports, some who have experienced racism at first hand do not see things getting any better.
