The rising power of the Taliban in Pakistan’s Swat Valley is worrying Pakistani immigrants in the US, who find that even though they’re thousands of kilometres away, the situation is having a frightening impact on their lives.
Many of the immigrants left Swat for the US in a bid to help their families back home. But some finding their presence in the US could be endangering their loved ones, as Kristen Saloomey reports.
